The 1-1/2 Quart we have found to be the perfect size for hold fruits and veggies in the refrig. It holds Sam's Club blueberries perfectly for on cereal and for snacking. Great for watermelon, strawbeeries, carrots, celery, etc... Organize your kitchen for healthy snacks, this item is a must. It keeps the fruits and veggies fresh so they last longer. Our son loves the pop top and encourages him to snack on more healthy foods. It can hold two quart size strawberries when cut in quarters.

OXO is an innovative company whose products often feature some unusual and stylish design elements, that very often are practical and functional. Such is the case with this line of OXO Good Grips plastic containers, which are available in a variety of shapes and sizes.
The clear plastic Good Grips containers are designed to hold dry goods. They look pretty cool, and you can clearly see whatever is inside. It can be refrigerated, but microwaving is not recommended. The walls of the container are pretty thick, and are rounded nubs on the bottom. Overall, the container is rock solid, and might hurt your toe if you happen to drop it on your foot.
The most notable feature is the uniquely designed spring loaded cover that utilizes a gasket to provide what is practically an air tight seal. A spring loaded pop-up button on the top of the cover is used to seal and unseal the cover. The mechanism is very convenient to use, and very reliable, although occasionally you may have to hit the pushbutton more than once to get it to work.
Cleaning the cover requires a little special care. OXO recommends separating the cover components and hand washing them separately, rather than in a dishwasher. Only the gasket is supposed to be dishwasher safe. This procedure is not a major hassle, but just make sure that you don't lose any of the components.
This well-designed product line, with eleven different sized containers, is convenient to use, but cost will probably be a factor for most, as they are rather expensive. If they were a little more affordable, they would definitely rate five stars. OXO has a couple of combo sets where you can get a set of the containers (either five or ten) at a slightly better price, although you may not get the exact container you want. Prolonging freshness and keeping out pests and bugs, these containers do a very good job storing dry goods, like cereal, grain, rice, sugar, beef jerky, crackers, pasta, nori, sweetener packets, flour, snack bars, beans, chips, dried fruits, cookies, candies, and the like. If the item has a little moisture, you can drop in one of those moisture absorbing packets.

I was using Lock N Locks for our backing staples (flour, brown sugar, chocolate chips, etc) and liked them well enough. But after seeing the POP containers on numerous cooking shows, I thought I'd give them a try - LOVE THEM!
They're extremely easy to use and take apart for cleaning. They look great and OXO is a brand I trust.
The negatives for me are that you can only put the seal in the dishwasher, not the entire thing. I also wish they were straight all the way to the top so that they stored flat against each other. They're also a bit pricey, but since I'm not buying 100 of them, I can live with it.
